Friday afternoon, we landed smack-dab in the middle of the French Quarter Festival! What fun it was to capture so many of the faces.
lucky man
loving it
contented dancers
dance-trance
passionate artist talking about his work
balloon man
princess
happy mama
mister roboto
mesmerized!
feather boa
oompah man!
play it honey! Bill Bailey sure came home...
colorful conversation
pensive bell hop
hope that you enjoyed!

Oh yeah. You really got it. I know a couple of the people in the photographs, though not personally, particularly the fellow in the boa: you nailed him no lie. Hehehe… really, I hope he sees that shot.
But you really caught the fun, the deep deep deep fun of New Orleans in the spring. And ya’know, you saw not one funnel’cake or watered down beer, no rednecks, no problems… just the music and the people and the city.
We hung you onto today’s Ladda.
Thanks youz,
