Held At Arm’s Length

Today was a day for experimentation with the telephoto lens, which had been sitting idle in the camera bag for quite some time.

So, let’s see how that came out.

So, let’s think about this, for just a moment.

It can be fun to catch things that are far away, and make it look like they’re close. It’s also useful for blurring out the background. Sometimes that can be a problem, though.  What if we want to see the bigger picture?  Maybe we’re out of luck.  It’s not too good for image sharpness either, but that is partly due to the quality of the lens!

In the end, it feels impossible to make contact with the subject.

So, maybe it’s time to switch lenses.

There.  That feels better.

Be well, and at peace,
