Finding the Foot of the Bodhi Tree

Buddha

With posture upright and stable, we sit at the foot of the Bodhi tree.

Body, speech and mind are one in stillness; there is no more thought of right and wrong.

Mind and body dwell in perfect mindfulness.

We rediscover my original nature, leaving the shore of illusion behind.

Noble Sangha, dilligently bring your mind into meditation.

In spite of their artificial nature, moments of stillness can still be had in museums, in which everything else disappears.

It seems easier to find on some days than others.

There are things that could be said about the above opening chant, but perhaps they are best left for another time right now.

Be well, and at peace,

Phil
