Ever felt like you needed one?  Yup.

“Keep doing what you’re doing,” he said.  “Eventually, something will come up, and you’ll make a connection that nobody else has.”

He also told the story of taking his grandson panning for gold, which is still a possibility in Ohio, believe it or not.  Usually what happens is everything light floats away in the water, and the two heaviest substances, iron and gold, sink down to the bottom.

It turned out that they got all iron.

Sigh.

“Keep doing what you’re doing,” he said.

For a while, anyway.
