Seeing What Is Really There

Feel free to enjoy these vibrant images from this evening’s walk.

delphinium

gold iris

white iris

yellow iris

tree peony

There’s still the matter of that quote I posted yesterday…

Discovery consists in seeing what everyone else has seen and thinking what no one else has thought~Albert Szent-Gyorgyi (Hungarian Biochemist)

That’s what I’m hoping for right now…that somewhere, the different colors that I see in different places will all begin to come together in a way that nobody has ever seen before.  Here’s another way to put it…

Expectation

So I was looking for some

burst of light

Eureka

he’s found it

isn’t that way, hasn’t he?

Just take the points of paint

spend a Sunday

on the Island of La Grande Jatte

and you can

understand

what I say.

This conglomeration

you call life

is

better when

you step back

and let it blur a bit.

The deep breath comes

and the colors blend

making sense

or not

And that, my friend,

is the difference between

the way I thought it would be

and the way

it is.

Be well, and at peace,
