Secret Gardens

Today, hopefully you will let me share a few beauties from the secret garden.

Those are so beautiful, and you can be assured, every bit as beautiful in person as in the picture.  Then there is this.

ahh...Rugosa!

ahh...Rugosa!

The rugosa is a simple little rose, with rampant foliage.  It’s not very fussy, and is perfectly happy where the soil is less than optimum.  It’s blossoms are not too fancy–just plain, pink and single.  It doesn’t repeat bloom very much.  You might begin to wonder, why bother?

It’s secret is when you get really close, and take a deep breath, and you’ll take in the most delicious, spicy, almost cinnamon-like aroma.

No one would ever know unless you took the trouble to venture back to the corner of the secret garden, and allow your senses to be awakened by that blissful sense of discovery.

mmm…

Come To My Garden
