Clutter

So, all that stuff about cleaning house from yesterday…

…well, maybe it’s different.

Here’s something I recently said:
“I used to think that people changed.  Then I thought that only things change, not people.  Now I’m not even sure of that.  Maybe what we pay attention to and don’t pay attention to changes, and everything really stays.  Is that changing?

Our lives are just big cluttered closets, full of stuff that we notice and don’t notice.  We don’t really collect anything new, or throw anything away.  It’s just all there.  It was always there, and it will always be there, and like the keys on the kitchen table, sometimes we see it, and sometimes not.  Or not.”

George Carlin–A Place for my Stuff

(remember, it’s George Carlin–not for the faint of heart)

It’s good to laugh, isn’t it?  There’s a lot of good STUFF in that video!

Be well, and at peace,

Phil
