The Flying Fig in Cleveland

This is our second visit to The Flying Fig. We were not disappointed!

The evening started out with a half bottle of Prosecco. Very nice for a summer cocktail!

Following close thereafter were salads of peaches, and beets.

All the while our server Ray was doing a splendid job of taking care of everything.

(Ray, good luck to you!)

Dinner was Walleye for me, Hangar Steak for Anthony. Delicious! Oh, and the view on the other side of the table…

All washed down with a bottle of 2005 Belle Colle Barbera D’Alba.

Dessert did not disappoint. Molten chocolate cake with signature fig ice cream, and macerated blackberries with basil ice cream. A perfect way to finish a summer dinner al fresco.

Enjoy the Flying Fig next time you’re in Cleveland. You’ll really enjoy it!

Special thanks to assistant chef Nathan for doing such a splendid job on our dinner. Excellence from start to finish!

Be well, and at peace,

Phil
