Chicago and More: Evanston and Wilmette

Wednesday Morning, after a quick continental breakfast at our hotel, we loaded up the car, and headed up Sheridan Road.

If you are a dog owner, and you live in Evanston, you’ve got it made! They have their own fenced-off “dog beach!” Look at these happy pooches at play:

I found the morning sunlight reflecting on the water to be intoxicating. What a way to start the day! More than once on this trip, I said, “If I could wake up every morning seeing that, how could I ever be unhappy?”

Just a little further north, and we arrived in Wilmette, home to the only Baha’i House of Worship in the United States.

By the way, yes, I did take those photos. No, I did not photoshop them at all. Yes, the sky was really that blue. It was an incredible day!

Here’s a link if you’re interested in knowing more about Baha’i.

Be well, and at peace,

Phil
