Live Now.

Tonight I was facilitating a discussion group, where I gave the following assignment:

Describe an experience in your life when you lost awareness of time, and describe it.

One woman told of a recent near death experience that she shared with her uncle.

Guess what happened when she shared it? Yup. Time stood still for all of us. We sat there, transported, with her, to that hospital room.

How often are we so caught up in our memory of yesterday (which is only the way we perceived yesterday–who knows what really took place), or bogged down by the details of what may or may not happen tomorrow? After all, all we have is now. And when you stop to be present now, you realize how good life is, being. Now.

Live now. After all, it’s the only time we can live.

Be well,

Phil
